Smart Turf is a division of Catalina Home. Founded in 1975, the company is still owned and operated by the original founders. Catalina Home, the company behind Smart Turf, has more than 40 years’ experience tufting broadloom products, so it was only natural to begin making artificial turf. We wanted to be smart about our design, and even smarter about the quality of product we were distributing. Since the expansion of our Smart Turf division in 2011, the number of turf qualities we offer has expanded dramatically, along with our customer base. In order to meet demand, we added a 6th machine tufting machine to our facility.
